Israel has to admit once and for all that it made a mistake in Lebanon because it relied on some very bad advice from 2 countries. It was not at all ready to to get into such a war and should not have started it.
On the day of the kidnapping, Nasrallah announced on TV that this was a unique operation and that he was ready to start negotiations on the exchange. The answer came back in the form of a couple of bridges being blown up and Israel had effectively started the war. Several bombed bridges later, Nasrallah again said he was willing to stop the katyushas and discuss the exchange and the reply came in the form of the bombing of the suburbs of Beirut.
Israel with its 2 partners was intent on the war and all the official stalling at the UN did not prevent the passage of the 1701. Israel has to stop its lies to its people on the real purpose of the war, the phosphorus, the uranium, the clusters, the merkevas, the ships etc. The whole thing is one big lie. |
