| Send them to Bulgaria? What does he think Bulgaria is? A dumping ground for Palestinians? The point of view expressed in this article seems to quite ignorant. You can`t expect to send people over to a new country and expect them to be prosperous. Bulgaria does not need people with some money (because $100,000 is not a whole lot) and no skills and ability to integrate in society. Another thing about European countries is that people there are ethnocentric. In other words: they don`t like foreigners. As far as the $100,000 is concerned most of it will be gone in one year. Prices are not that low anymore and the standard of living is getting pretty high. Mind you, Bulgaria is joining the EU in 2007, so prices will go up even more, so you won`t have the cheap prices advantage anymore. So, after all the whole idea of relocating Palestians to Bulgaria does not seem to be so feasible any more. |
