| That jews and arabs cannot live in peace in Israel is a fallacy.They did,untill 1967 not a single bullet was fired by an israeli arab even during the Sinai campaign.All the threats came from outside the boarder. After the 6 days war, Time magazine wrote an article "The israelis discover the arabs" describing how we poured into the territories shopped and mixed with a friendly population. The opportunity of solving the problem was golden. Instead the arabs got the colonies and the settlers, we got intifada. The rest is history. |
