George W Bush has said some stupid things but one thing that he said that wasnt so stupid was `You are either with us or the terrorists` Now with saying that,I must say that the word terrorist has also at times been missused but the point is that the moderates in the Arab world (and I say there are several that write here) havent made a big enough stand against their own radicals. It maybe a loyalty/betrayal issue and also there is a frustration with the West too of its stand. But the issue here is mainly about democracy and civil rights and in many if not most arab countries there is none. So if the muslims dont stand with democracy loud and clear against their own radicals while living in the west we wonder where their loyalty lies. In this sense the veil doesnt help their relationship with the west.Saying that I am for civil rights and for freedom of choice within democracy and in that sense they should keep the veil but the veil while hiding the body shouldnt mask the voice
