I have read some truly dreadful articles published in this paper,but this is the most ill informed article so far. Referring to the case of Aisha Azmi - Not one article I have read has even mentioned why she was suspended. The truth is that several of the children she was teaching complained that they could not understand what she was saying. When she refused to take off the veil she was suspended. When people live in a country, they should respect the laws of that country and if they do not like it they can leave it and find somewhere they feel comfortable in.
You must also understand that most people treat what politicians say with the contempt that most of these representatives richly deserve. It does not matter which party they are from. They all say things to jump on one bandwagon or another.Finally you state that scrarves do not explode, and veils do not kill.This is true, but they can be used to conceal and I think that is what causing some fear among non muslims |
