| Islam was once a tolerant religion - we`re often told. What happened? It`s not correct to say that this clash of cultures is the fault of Westerners. We cannot allow a sizeable minority of people among us who hate us and wish to destroy our way of life. Respect is a two-way street. Jews and Christians ( not to mention Hindus and Buddhists ) believe in `live and let live`. I hope Muslims will opt for reform and modernity instead of looking back to their `glorious` past. |
