It is an essential part of Western culture that you can see one in the face and the eyes when talking to one. Same goes for shaking hands. Besides that it was a common law in Europe, also before the coming of Muslims, that private religious schools may allow their students to wear something on the head, but in public non-religious schools nobody has ever been allowed to wear anything on their head: not Jews, not Christians, not Muslims. Nothing to do with discrimination or inquisiotion, fool.
