| There are obscenities and there are obscenities. The writer of the post calling this divine retribution has uttered an obscenity that is not worth printing. Whether one agrees or disagrees with Prof Ravitsky (who in my opinion is a brilliant individual and a leading light for rational thought inside the religious community)is not the issue when one is battling for his life. Rather, the lack of any human feeling for another is at the heart of the disease destroying the Jewish people today. When we lose our humanity and begin to celebrate other Jews illness or injury, something terrible has occured inside our community that needs to be addressed.
