If unbelievable bravery in incredulous times of peril trying to save the lives of Jewish children weren`t enough, this giant of a woman also sought to save the childrens souls. She retained and hid meticulous records to help these children reunite with any family that might survive as well as their heritage. There are enough other incidents of people saving lives with the intention of exploiting the hardships of others to gain converts to their religion. Mrs. Sandler sought no gain whatsoever and is truly an angel that deserves all honors, respect, and anything else we can offer. There is no way we could ever repay the enormous debt we owe this great lady.
May she, Raul Wallenburg, and all others who risked their lives to save Jews be blessed.
