wish to ask:
1) What has Syria done during all these past years if not to opt for the military approach through the use, together with Iran, of their front troops in the form of Hizballah?
2) Why would Syria host the chief terrorists of Hamas and the PFLP General Command all these years, telling the world it does not; and why Syria continues to finance terrorist organizations within Judea and Samaria (West Bank) and the Gaza Strip? Are these signs of good will and interest in peaceful co-existance with Israel?
3) Will Syria be willing to draw the final border between it and Israel at the internationally recognized border as designated by the UN, or will it insist on receiving land it occupied illegally as a result of the War of Independence with Israel of 1948? (Note, the 4 June 1967 line IS NOT the international border!)
4) To what extent can Syria be reliable, having started three different wars against Israel with the intention of eliminating Israel: 1948, 1967, 1973!!! |
