As a Jew and especially as a Rabbi it should be clear to you that Israel is your home and where you belong. It is unfortunate that it required a demeaning situation for you to realize this. Please make yourself an example for the other Jews in Iraq and around the world and speak of the importance of Aliya - not just to run from trouble, but on the positive side, to come home and do your part to build your country, to bring the final Redemption.
