| All those who blame the US for the final disappearance of the Jews from Iraq don`t know anything about history. The beginning of the end of the Jewish community began already in the "Farhud" massacre of Jews in 1941 under the Rashid Ali pro-Nazi regime. Things deteriorated after that. Most of the Jews came to Israel in 1950. Saddam Hussein organized a public hanging of a number of Jews in 1970 and most of the rest got the message to leave. A typical example of "Muslim/Arab" tolerance! |
