| Ahmad asks, "Why is it that the so called "root of all evil" country controlled by arabs has a +20,000 population of Jews, yet a country which is being liberated by the U.S. is not safe for jews". First, that "root of all evil" counry (Iran) is not controlled by arabs. Second, the Jewish population of Iraq was down 99% from its peak by the time the first US soldier set foot in the country. Third, non-Arab Iran was the only majority Muslim country with a sizeable Jewish population until the Shah was overthrown (about 75,000 in 1979). The fact that it`s down 65% from that time is proof enough that Iran is no paradise for Jews. Iran however has since decided to join the struggle, not only against Israel (where more than 40% of the world`s Jews reside), but against Jews elsewhere (cf. destruction of the Jewish center in Buenos Aires). But neither the Jews nor the Israelis have any grievance against the Persian nation, only against its monstrous government and its aggressive intentions. |
