This is absolutely disgusting. The citizens of Lebanon are starving and still repairing houses, sewers, and so forth... even their pharmacies are out of critical medications. Now, while the US gives Israel almost 1/2 billion dollars to soup up their criminal military even more, it does nothing more than make a feeble attempt to organize PRIVATE contributions to the people of Lebanon.
This is horrendous. I ashamed that my tax dollars go to such crap. Right now America has some of the world`s worst public highschools, does not have medical care available to the whole of its population, to name but a few problems. It also sends almost no money to impoverished countries like Cambodia and Laos. But it wastes BILLIONS on Israel. For what? Jonathan Pollard? The USS Liberty? Maybe all the ill-will we get from the rest of the world for our support of Israel? |
