Since Israel has refused to agree to the timetable it had agreed to and have all of it`s forces withdrawn from Lebanese soil by last friday if 50,000 tropps were present - I don`t think it`ll be the last time the IDF and the UN cross paths on a battlefield.
As of last saturday morning, there are only TWO LEGAL armed forces in the area , the UN Force and the Lebanese Army. The IDF is present illegally and against it`s own agreement, but I suppose that isn`t really a surprise to anyone since the entire world has years of experience with watching illegal IDF occupations in lands which they don`t belong.
It`s a bit surprising that an IAF airstrike wasn`t ordered on the UN tank and the IDF then comes out and says they thought it was Hezbollah... |
