| A terrorist is someone who intentionally kills innocent people in an attempt to achieve a goal not otherwise achieveable by dialog. Hizbulla kidnapped Israeli soldiers to try to force Israel to release Lebanese soldiers. Yasser Arafat released hundreds of Hamas terrorists fro jail just after Camp David II in an effort to use violence as a tool to achieve political goals he could not (or did not want) to achieve through dialog. And yes, the sad expression of freedom fighter. If this "freedomfighter" intentionally kills innocent civilians in an aim to acheive their goals are also terrorists. So for those who claim freedom fighting isn`t terrorism, you`re right, as long as you don`t use the intentional murder of innocent people in your struggle for freedom. Once you start lobbing missles and strapping bombs on your children and having them walk into restaurants to indiscriminately kill people, they become terrorists. |
