It`s important to do this, because the Israelis that live in the US, especially in Northern California, could contribute a lot to Israeli society if they were given better employment options. With everything its been through, Israel is still a good place to live. Imagine what would happen if the conlict ended and the situation in Israel normalized!

As to #1, how do you know all that stuff? How do we believe what you say and not Haaretz? Either way, the number of Israelis abroad is too great. They must be encouraged to return.
