The number of Israelis who left Israel has always been and remains a well kept secret. The true numbers are far too embarrassing and therefore will never be published. We do know that the number is well over a million, probably closer to 1.2 million, with teh majority living in New York, Florida, Maryland/DC, and LA. The Jewish Agency`s statistics do not include children of Israelis born abroad. **Launching a marketing campaign** in doubletalk means that the JA will be seeking new funding to keep them on life support for a few more years. As more and more JA officials retire, increasing funds are required to support their retirement packages. The Israeli community in the US is growing by leaps and bounds and the truest indication of this fact is the increasing number of subscribers to the Israeli network on DISH TV.
