I absolutely love what Bradley Burston is doing. We are unspinning the spin. This is the only way to solve these problems. It doesnt mean that in the end its a 50/50 deal.It means that the truth talks.Understanding that what a terrorist is and stands for on both sides of the fence helps. Terrorism against civilians is always bad.Israel was in a connundrum about what it needed to attack to defeat Hizbullah. If missiles were held in schools and hospitals and garages were those targets legitimate? If civilians defend terrorists, then are those targets legitimate? Conversely if a people have no way to resist,is a civilian target a legitimate target? I have tried to seperate the idea of terrorism for resistance as against terrorism for fundamentalism but people love to blur those lines. Not that terrorism of any kind is acceptable.Killing babies is never legitimate. But the point is,can we and will they let good people on both sides unspin the spin so that the real problems can be solved |
