I enjoy reading your articles, however there is one thing that troubles me, in this text, and in other (what i like to call more) "enlightened" israelis or friends of israel`s texts :

its the half truth turned into stone. Its a sort of lazyness in thought and lack of real courage to go all the way. It seems that when there is an admission of wrongdoing from israel, then there is a sort of pudor or uneasyness which leads to making concessions and diluting the actual discourse.

In this case here : you start in an interesting way, grabbing the reader`s attention ("someone is being pragmatic finally") but then it seems you need to get brownie points from the zionists back so you say something like : The end of the gaza occupation is a proof that terrorism is not a fruit of occupation. And the way you say it is proven since the israeli withdrawal is also misleading.

Israelis withrdrew but kept the knot tight around gaza, didnt do anything or rather did as much as they could to keep thin
