If Islam is such a beautiful and peaceful religeon that should be venerated why is it, seamingly, so easy to corrupt it`s followers to commit attrocity after attrocity in it`s name? Why does Sharia recommend the hacking off of body parts as punishment for the smallest of crimes? Why is it continually the excuse for the extreme, and where are the moderates.
Every time someone is presented as a Muslim moderate, it doesn`t take long before they start sounding like an extremist!
How could an abomination like the Taliban "government" come to power in Afganistan? Why are girls worth less than goats, what is meek about covering yourself from head to foot in a black sheet? What is respectful in the refusal to look someone, especially women, in the eye? These things are completely counter to western culture, and breed feelings of distrust. And who could say given recent events that this distrust isn`t justified? |
