| Israel holds the key to peace in the middle east, being the only true demoracy in the region, as well as being the most powerful. There is a big difference between what people want, which is usually impossible, what they say they want, which is generally how they want to be seen and appreciated, and what can be accomplished, which requires realistic plans. Israeli could be the biggest broker for peace, if real leaders come foward and convince the electorate that peace is possible. It`s harder for the US to do it, because the issues are poorly understood and the voters tend to vote loyalities and identifications over any kind of big picture. |
