I evacuated from N.O. after Hurricane Katrina hit, loosing everything-at 72+, I could never rebuild. I came to Dothan, AL on the advise of a few misguided people and will be returning to Louisiana sometime in early 2007 to live. Am regretful about the small number of Jewish people remaining in Alex. My Father was a physician there many years ago but he died when he was 36 yrs. of age. My children live in Virginia and they, for various reasons, perfer not to be envolved with me. We all have to live out our lives according to what The Almighty wants for us and my return to Louisiana is one of those requirements. I had hoped someone at the Temple could assist me in locating a suitable home (inexpensive) to purchase for myself and my small dog who found me in the storm. Guess, now, I will have to locate another source to assist me.
Happy New Year to all of you.
Respectfully,
