| My family is from Aleppo (Halab) in Syria. In 1948 our Moslem neighbors burned down the houses of all the Jews. We subsequently fled to Israel with no possessions. It`s a historical fact that Jews were mistreated in Arab lands. Sadly it`s also a fact that Arabs have a very weakly developed talent for self-criticism and admitting when they were wrong. Hence the myth that Moslems treated Jews as brothers. |
