| The synagogue is a memorial to the closed chapter of Egyptian Jewry. It should be moved to Israel so it will not be desecrated, which is unfortunately a common phenomenon for non-Muslim institutions in Muslim countries. Look at the churces burned by the Palestinians in response to the popes remarks. However, no mosques were burned after 9/11 in the US |
