| You are completely right. But don`t forget the importance of the technical "form" of the media. The talkback of Haaretz isn`t adapt for discussions (like a forum for example) but only to post brief statements about the article. Internet`s typical attitude to exacerbate opinions (since the writer hasn`t the interlocutor in front of him, and think that "talking big" he made more impression) do the rest. |
