I commend you on your attempt Mr. burston, hopefully a lot of good will come from it.
As for rules suggestions i would propose that arguments such as "we do x, but y does it more" be discouraged. Also that all racist diatribe from both extremes be ferociously moderated, separating fact from blanket statements designed to humilliate others or advance ones agenda.
And lastly that an open mind and heart be encouraged, that everyone gives as much respect and understanding as they wish to receive and concentrate on facts and solutions for a better tommorrow and now just recalcitrations of a past full of propaganda from both sides.
A way forward.
