No Amira, people simply want to stop getting murdered. Remember all the murders of Jews beginning in 1920 when we were a minority of less than 10% of the population? Remember 1929? Remember the refusal to divide the land in 1937, again in 1947, the war they launched in 1948, the subsequent wars and terrorism, the refusal to negotiate a truthful compromise in 2000 and 2001? Remember the war they launched that nearly always targets civilians who are Jewish inside the Green Line?
Israel was out of Areas A, and they pulled us back in. Israel had leaders who had never dreamed of a fence, and then built it because of the violence. The same people who wanted settlements and settlers built the fence so what does that tell you? It`s a question of survival; it`s a question of compromise. Why don`t you write bitter articles in Palestinian papers condemning the electing of terrorists to power; for supporting these terrorists and their violence? Maybe if they really talk peace, it`ll happen? |
