Yes Amira, it not only could be, it is so. There are people born in this country who do not know what Arab village or town lies not 5 kilometers from their doors, let alone the conditions prevailing in them. They are today`s under-40 year-olds living in the centre of the country, within the green line. Generations have been brought up whose eyes see not what is in front of them but what is inside them. The air conditioning units that cool their cars, shopping malls, apartments and offices, their cellphones and computers help to screen out the realities in which they live. Their "hitnatkut", (disengagement) incredible though it may seem, is quasi-total.
