How did Hezbollah save Lebanon? By starting a war with their neighbor and then hiding their military forces in civilian areas? What army do you know of uses its civilians to protect military assets? All the other armies use military assets to protect civilians, this shows me that Hezbollah isn`t concerned with Lebanese civilians. This has been a consistent tactic of Hezbollah and Hamas.
Israel punished Lebanon for Hezbollah`s crimes? Israel attacked Hezbollah targets and infrastructure, they didn`t carpet bomb cities, they used multi-million dollar guided weapons to attack specific targets, they didn`t use un-guided rockets to randomly attack civilian population centers like Hezbollah(or Nazi Germany) did.
The Lebanese Army consists of 40000 conscripts with 2nd hand weapons, they took no action to defend their territory because they knew it was futile. |
