| Be fair, guys. The Lebanese Army`s perceived weakness is a side-effect of Israel`s request that they don`t get hold of anything more dangerous than a crayon. There were and remain good reasons for that, but it can`t be too wonderful for them to know they have no realistic way of defending their own borders. At some point Israel needs to trust Lebanon enough to allow its army to be fully armed. But it has to be said, that moment hasn`t yet arrived. |
