| Israel cannot have a conflict without "teaching a lesson" to the miscreants. In the recent war, Hizbollah proved far to dangerous to be taught a lesson directly. The intense bombing of Lebanese civilians, with never a shot fired in defense against the Israeli artillery and jets, proved to be a suitable classroom. Lessons were learned for sure. The Lebanese civilians learned that the IDF are a murderous mob without conscience. Hizbollah learned that Israel still has no taste for casualites, which will always be their undoing. Israel learned that the enemy cannot always be bombed into submission. |
