becoming strangely anti-Semitic. I`m saddened by the divisions and the disunity among Israeli citizens. Life in Israel is hard. We need each other. Is there any room for pride in a small pond? We have a persistant enemy who has been given legitimacy by the world and has a charismatic leader in Nazrallah. We cannot afford to be fickle or double minded. I admit I do not have answers because I lack all the facts. Who is there left to trust? We need a voice of unity, of rightness, of courage; a voice of patriotism, of identity, of the land. If I`m not mistaken I feel, like most, a lostness, a dreadful emptiness, a foreboding, an eerie silence in my heart before the raging storm. I don`t know whether to stand or run? d.dor Jerusalem. |
