| What the hell is Olmert waiting for? For that sick joke Kofi Annan to rescue him from his fecklessness and absent leadership? A wartime leader who knows what needs to be done leads his nation to victory. Ehud Olmert prefers to duck and hide behind UN skirts and blames the IDF for his failure to wage a real war on Hezbollah. After 4 weeks, Israeli soldiers are dying for a tiny strip of land in Lebanon and Hezbollah is still there with rockets aimed at Israel. If Olmert agrees to a ceasefire and Hezbollah`s arsenal is still intact, his government will pay the price with the people of Israel. Israelis are prepared to sacrifice their children`s lives to defend their country. What Israel`s leaders are not prepared to do is use the IDF decisively to remove the Hezbollah to Israel. We have had a change of direction of direction in Israel alright. From a make-believe peace to a make-pretend war. |
