Israel's first ultra-orthodox secret agent completed a successful undercover sting in central Israel on Monday, leading to the arrests of 11 suspected drug dealers.

Shlomo Traitel, 34 and a father of five, always stood out in his Haredi community because of his work as a police officer. But only after the operation in Ramle and Lod on Monday did his peers realize the extent of his work.

The arrests followed six months of contact-building with the dealers, during which they began to buy the story that Shlomo's purchases were for the benefit of yeshiva students just looking to get high.
