Peace activists rallying against outpost view settlers as 'enemy'

Ahead of U.S. President George W. Bush's arrival in Israel, Peace Now activists made their way to the outpost of Migron, north of Jerusalem.

The protesters, numbering some 100, hoped the timing would help their voices be heard against the illegal outpost, where 50 Jewish families live without formal permission on private Palestinian land.

In biblical times, Migron housed Saul when he fought against the Philistines. In its current incarnation, it's an outpost whose evacuation American diplomats demand every time they discuss the outposts with their Israeli counterparts.
