Ramle man held after alleged rape of Filipina workerBy Roni Singer-Heruti, Haaretz Correspondent The Ramle Magistrate's Court yesterday remanded a man in his twenties for another three days on suspicion of raping a Filipina foreign worker last Saturday. The man was arrested that day after the woman filed a police complaint against him, in which she said he raped her in his car in Ramle. She said she got into the suspect's car, because he had offered to give her a ride home. The suspect was arrested shortly after the complainant reported the incident. Police sources say the arrest was made possible, because she managed to write down the car's license number. |
