Police arrest Eilat civil servant suspected of issuing fake IDs

Police on Friday arrested the manager of the Interior Ministry's Eilat bureau on the suspicion he provided criminals with fake IDs and passports in return for bribes.
In an overnight raid, fraud squad officers nabbed the man together with an associate who recently arrived from the former Soviet Union and is suspected of trying to obtain fake identification cards.
Be'er Sheva's Magistrate's Court remanded the two suspects.
