State: PM has asked for plan to evacuate all illegal outposts

The state told the High Court of Justice on Tuesday that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has instructed Defense Minister Amir Peretz to draw up a plan for the evacuation of all illegal outposts.
The announcement was made during a hearing on a "Peace Now" court petition regarding the evacuation of the Migron outpost.
"The plan drawn up by Olmert suggests starting with the easiest outposts to evacuate and moving on to the most difficult, based on parameters such as the outpost population and the anticipated resistance," said state prosecutors.
In December 2006, the state informed the High Court that Peretz had instructed Israel Defense Forces officials to negotiate the evacuation of the illegal outposts with the settlers, in the hope that they would leave voluntarily.
Peretz had delivered a six-month deadline for those negotiations, after which he would instruct the forcible evacuation of the outpost.
