Seven minors suspected of sexually assaulting girl, 14, in Netanya

Netanya Magistrates Court on Sunday extended by three days the remand of seven minors who are suspected of assaulting and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl who they believed to have spread rumors about one of them.
The girl filed a complaint with police on Sunday, alleging that a number of girls and boys from her neighborhood attacked her in a public park in Netanya.
According to the complaint, one of the suspects lured her to the area, where the seven minors began hitting and kicking her throughout her body. At one point, one of the girls allegedly forced open her mouth, forcing her to have oral sex with one of the boys.
The girl told investigators that her assailants told her she was being punished for spreading rumors claiming one of the boys is inclined towards bestiality. The girl denied having spread the rumors.
The victim also told investigators that one of the boys filmed the entire assault on his cellular phone. Police have confiscated all of the suspects' cellular phones and is examining them in an attempt to locate the video.
