2 IDF soldiers lightly hurt when vehicle fired on near Ramallah

Two Israel Defense Forces soldiers were lightly wounded Thursday morning in a shooting attack near the West Bank separation fence, west of Ramallah.
The soldiers were riding in a Jeep close to the Ofer military base when their vehicle was fired upon by gunmen who then fled the area.
Medical services were reportedly on the way to the scene.
Earlier Wednesday, IDF troops came under fire in Nablus in the northern West Bank, but did not suffer injuries, Israel Radio reported. In the early morning, an explosive device was thrown at troops patrolling in the Jenin area.
IDF troops arrested 24 wanted Palestinians across the West Bank overnight Wednesday, the radio reported.
