By Haaretz Service

Two men were shot dead in their car in Be'er Sheva's Country Club junction on Tuesday. A Magen David Adom team that arrived at the scene of the crime pronounced the two dead.

The two were identified as 29-year-old Muhammad Abu Kaliun and 23-year-old Attwa Abu Saluk.

The initial investigation revealed that the two were shot in the head and chest, and that the motive behind the murders is likely an underworld dispute.

The manager of the Negev MDA said that "a shooting incident was reported at 20:20. An MDA team that arrived at the scene found two people with gunshot wounds. The death of one of the victims was pronounced at the scene. The team tried to resuscitate the second victim for 20 to 30 minutes, but eventually pronounced him dead as well.

Reports received by the police reveal that a car was seen fleeing the scene shortly after the shooting. Police erected road blocks in the area in an attempt to locate the vehicle.
