Bodies of two unidentified men discovered south of ShfaramBy Jack Khoury, Haaretz Correspondent The bodies of two men were found on Sunday in a ditch in the Galilee. Police suspect the two had been murdered. The bodies were discovered by a shepherdess as she made her way down the highway connecting Shfaram and Nazareth (highway 79). The shepherdess immediately notified the police. The commander of the Shfaram police department, Chief Superintendent Yoram Danieli, reported that the police has closed off the area and are investigating the incident. He added that the bodies have not yet been identified, and their age has also not yet been determined. At the behest of the police, the court issued a gag order on the details of the investigation. Police sources said they believe the two were not area residents. Danieli said that no missing persons reports had been filed with the Shfaram police in recent days, which supports his suspicions that the men were not from the area. |
