23-year-old Holon resident shot dead while driving in the city

Holon resident Ilan Chen, 23, was shot dead Tuesday night while driving on Zekharia Harofe Street in the city.
The police initially believed that Chen had been killed in a car crash, but the autopsy revealed that he had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
Shortly after midnight, Chen was driving his car when suddenly he veered to the right and crashed into vehicles parked on the side of the road. The police had believed that the impact had killed him, but the irregular evidence at the scene prompted investigators to order an autopsy on the body of the victim.
The autopsy revealed that Chen had been shot in the chest and the shoulder. The murder investigation is currently being carried out by a special investigation team.
