31-year-old man stabbed to death in Tel Aviv brothelBy Roni Singer-Haruti, Haaretz Correspondent A 31-year-old resident of Tel Aviv was stabbed to death Friday night during a scuffle that broke out at a brothel in south Tel Aviv. The suspect, a 40-year-old man from Tel Aviv, was arrested at his residence shortly thereafter with the murder weapon in his possesion. Shortly before 8 P.M., police received a report of a fight at a brothel in the city. A team of paramedics arrived on the scene and attempted to save the life of the victim to no avail. Initial investigations suggest that the victim was escorting his girlfriend, an employee at the brothel, to work when the incident took place. The suspect is reportedly an acquaintance of the victim, who he knew would be at the brothel at the time. According to witnesses, the two entered a side room in the brothel and shortly after the fight broke out in which the victim was stabbed to death. The motive for the murder remains unknown. |
