Security forces nab two prisoners fleeing from Ketziot Prison

Security forces on Thursday caught two Palestinian prisoners who fled overnight from Ktziot Prison shortly after their escape.
One of the prisoners was captured next to the prison and the second was apprehended soon after next to the Israel-Egypt border.
Both prisoners were members of Fatah and residents of Gaza.
On Wednesday night, guards at the prison noticed a rope hanging over an exterior wall of the prison. After performing a head count of prisoners, guards realized that the two were missing, and after expanded searches of the area, both were caught.
One of the prisoners was serving a 3-year sentence for illegally residing in Israel, and the other was serving a seven year sentence for harming national security.
