Three held for allegedly filming cashpoints, stealing moneyBy Roni Singer-Haruti, Haaretz Correspondent Three people were arrested in Ramat Gan last week for allegedly stealing money from cash dispensing machines after filming machines in a number of locations around Israel. The suspects - Polek Eisenberg, 30, and Elia Wisemen and Elia Toltzvski, both 29 - were caught using forged credit cards, and had lists of dozens of credit card numbers and personal codes in their possession. The three are suspected of placing cameras in hidden locations to filmed the keypads, thereby recording the secret codes entered by customers. The numbers on the credit cards used were also videotaped. The suspects were to appear at a remand hearing at Ramle Magistrate's Court Wednesday. |
