Woman suspected of helping husband rape their daughter

A man suspected of raping his 15-year-old daughter was arrested Sunday morning in a northern town. Police also arrested the girl's mother, suspected of helping her husband commit the rape.
The couple will appear Sunday at Nazareth Magistrate's Court for a hearing on the extension of their remand.
According to the girl's testimony, while her parents were drunk, her mother forcibly held her down so that her father could strip her clothes off and rape her.
The parents allegedly assaulted their daughter in front of their 3-year-old son.
A short time after the daughter filed a complaint, police arrested the couple and took their son to child welfare services.
Last weekend, child welfare services reported to local police that the girl's parents refused to open the door to their house.
Police were called to the residence, and were forced to enter through a window after the parents still would not open the door.
