PM, Netanyahu, ministers said set to meet Schwarzenegger

By Haaretz Service

The prime minister, the leader of the opposition, and a number of cabinet ministers, visiting Los Angeles for the General Assembly of North American Jewish communities, have requested meetings with California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and most will get their wish, Israel Radio reported Monday.

The governor's office has already set up meetings with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu, Foreign minister Tzipi Livni, and Tourism Minister Yitzhak Herzog, the report said, adding that officials are also trying to arrange a meeting with ultra-Orthodox Shas leader and Trade Minister Eli Yishai.

"The office of the governor of California is having difficulty keeping up with the pace of Israeli requests for a meeting and a photograph with the muscleman-governor," the radio said.
