Woman killed, man hurt after car explodes in north

A middle-aged woman was killed and a man was lightly hurt after a car exploded outside the northern village of Meghar predawn Saturday.
Police said that the blast occurred as the vehicle was making its way to an olive grove at the outskirts of the village. The woman, 48, was killed instantly and the man, 45, suffered only mild injuries.
Commander of Valleys District Police said they suspect that the explosion is related to an underworld dispute.
